ESPN+ESPN Plus – We shouldn't be using the stylized version of the name in the title. Rreagan007 (talk) 19:58, 29 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose move. Not only do reliable sources somewhat consistently spell it as ESPN+, but what grounds do you have to claim it's a stylization? Remember, the inclusion of a non-alphanumeric character does not always imply a stylized title. ONR (talk) 12:31, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose per ONR. It's consistently rendered with the plus sign in sources, and the use of a plus sign is not inherently stylization. oknazevad (talk) 18:34, 4 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

KHL on ESPN+ not stopped due to sanctions?

edit

The article says that the KHL games are broadcast on ESPN+, but are they still broadcast after the introduction of sanctions against Russia in 2022? There is no reference to the current year/season. 212.164.204.31 (talk) 08:16, 23 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

ESPN+ has now become ESPN Select. UtahJazzFan1 (talk) 19:28, 26 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Actually, the ESPN+ branding continues to be used as programming brand for an unspecified period of time due to contractual obligations with some of its content providers. ESPN+ also continues to be distributed to commercial establishments as a standalone package for TV, separate from that regular ESPN streaming service available directly to customers. And the listings on https://www.espn.com/watch/ and https://www.espn.com/watch/schedule continue to use "ESPN+" instead of "ESPN Select" -- again like just another one of ESPN's channels.
