Lead and sourcing concerns
editThe lead overstates the sourcing — Cosmas presents Krok as a wise man people sought for judgment, not a titled official, so "first judge or duke" doesn't hold. The 683 date and Vyšehrad connection come from Hájek, whose chronicle modern historians treat as largely fabricated.
Suggested lead: "Krok is a legendary figure in Czech mythology and early chronicle tradition, described as a wise judge or prince and the father of Libuše, Kazi, and Teta."
