Her bisexuality is too open and obvious.

edit

If Dorothea openly states that she is bisexual and can become your wife despite the protagonist's gender, do we have to refer to a retelling of these obvious facts from articles like "top 10 interesting facts about the character" etc. for this? Why can't we refer to the fact itself or the character's lines? Solaire the knight (talk) 18:25, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

I can't tell what part of the article you're referring to. Can you be more specific? Sergecross73 msg me 20:15, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm talking about the phrase "She's also bisexual" in the character description, which refers to a retelling of two fairly objective facts from the game. Solaire the knight (talk) 20:24, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Your stance is that its overkill to concurrently refer to her as bisexual and mention bisexual things she does...? Sergecross73 msg me 20:30, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I'm just asking about the need for sources for this, since the game openly and objectively positions her as a bisexual character. Because I think the game confirms this even without secondary sources. Solaire the knight (talk) 20:36, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia prefers writing things to secondary coverage, so there's no problem here, regardless of how obvious it is in the game. Sergecross73 msg me 20:38, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
So, is this mostly a rule-encouraged formality rather than an overuse of sources? If so, then I have no questions. Because the issue of ships is discussed in a separate topic. Solaire the knight (talk) 20:40, 28 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
