Conflict of Interest disclosure I would like to disclose a potential conflict of interest regarding Dmitri M. Johnson. I have a professional/affiliated connection to the subject and therefore will avoid directly editing the article in ways that could compromise neutrality. Instead, I will suggest improvements here on the Talk page, including adding independent sources from reputable outlets (Variety, Deadline, Polygon, etc.) that may better establish notability under WP:GNG. I welcome uninvolved editors to review these suggestions and implement them if appropriate. MLGoldberg (talk) 16:05, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Response to WP:GNG Concern

I’d like to address the General Notability (WP:GNG) tag on this article. While earlier sources were more promotional or primary in nature, there now exists a solid foundation of independent, substantive coverage from reputable media outlets. These sources collectively present Johnson not merely as a figure attached to projects, but as a leader shaping the broader industry. Key examples include:
These references go beyond routine announcements or press releases—they offer critical context, in-depth discussion, and highlight Johnson’s recognized industry influence. I recommend integrating them into the lead and body of the article to clearly demonstrate independent coverage and full compliance with WP:GNG. MLGoldberg (talk) 16:10, 1 September 2025 (UTC) | |
“No Significant Coverage” Concern

Per WP:GNG, significant coverage is coverage that goes beyond trivial mentions, routine announcements, or brief listings. It does not require that a subject be the sole focus of an article, but the discussion should be more than incidental. In this case, several reliable and independent sources provide exactly that:
Taken together, these meet the “significant coverage” requirement. They provide in-depth, independent commentary about Johnson’s career and influence, not merely routine announcements. So upon further reflection, I'd now recommend that the article be updated to reflect these sources more prominently, which should resolve the concern that there is no significant coverage. Obviously agent-affiliated editing
edit
A minor figure with so far little to actually show besides headline-bait IP acquisitions. Edited by Johnson or an agent. MLGoldberg admits it as much and continued to edit anyway; Justthefacts911 seems sketchy for mostly just editing this one page.

- Justthefacts911 just so happen created the Michael Lawrence Goldberg article. What has Wikipedia become? Like really.. Mike Allen 01:39, 30 January 2026 (UTC)
- I have previously attempted to clean up numerous articles edited by these users (they're likely the same person). Both accounts exclusively edit articles related to Johnson, Goldberg and any video games even remotely related to the Story Kitchen company. They have also tried pushing a Story Kitchen draft multiple times and there was previously an AFD nomination for this article but it didn't go anywhere.
