Does anyone here know why? Peter Jennings is in the Disney Hall Of Fame. I read the website but it still doesn't answer my quesiton, he did NOTHING for Disney (well maybe reported some news on the company but that would probably be it). —Preceding unsigned comment added by AKR619 (talkcontribs) 9 April 2007

First off, learn how to type. Second, learn how to sign your comments. Third, anyone with half a brain knows about Peter Jennings. The Walt Disney Company owns ABC, and Peter Jennings worked for ABC News. So it's not strange that the Walt Disney Company would name Peter Jennings a Disney Legend. Next time do some research. Citing Sources

edit

Hey, I like how the article sites ALL of its sources and everything, but I think it would make the article A LOT cleaner if instead we linked to the Disney Legend's home page instead of linking to ALL of the subpages.

Just a suggestion. --98.25.102.152 (talk) 04:48, 27 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The above commenter may have gotten their wish. None of the individual award links in the cites work anymore. Also Alice Davis isn;t listed on the disney site that i can find. --64.134.179.177 (talk) 13:25, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it's comical. Someone spent hours of their life doing that and it doesn't work. The format has changed from http://disney.go.com/disneyinsider/history/legends/about?key=Betty+Lou+Gerson to http://disney.go.com/disneyinsider/history/legends/betty-lou-gerson. If only there was a machine that could input several text strings sequentially, perform an operation on each string, and output them again. 87.113.185.86 (talk) 17:02, 8 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Links to d23.com all seem to be working without any problem, but many references are tagged with a little red lock icon (markup: |url-access=subscription ) even though they do not appear to be locked or require a subscription.

Perhaps this relates to the above Broken links discussion? Maybe the links were subscription only before but have since been changed to unlocked links that do not require subscription? Could someone more familiar with this article please confirm, and update the references removing the inaccurate " |url-access=subscription ". -- 109.79.66.241 (talk) 07:05, 30 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, the picture that is in the preface of the article on mobile makes the text of the article not be displayed correctly and may confuse the user who wants to read the article on mobile. تیرتاوافن (talk) 18:52, 6 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

One solution might be to add an infobox to the article and put the logo in it. Sir Tragedy (talk) 17:51, 10 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Delete sentence?

edit

First sentence under criteria is no longer valid as Roy Disney has died. It adds no value in my opinion so perhaps just delete it? Jstone63 (talk) 18:57, 19 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
