External links modified
editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Dhanuk. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20090309110117/http://www.joshuaproject.net/peoples.php to http://www.joshuaproject.net/peoples.php
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).

Dhanka
editThere is some referenced stuff at the Dhanka article which may be relevant to this one, eg: regarding etymology from dhanush and elsewhere. - Sitush (talk) 12:15, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
Yes Dhanuk and Dhanka, both are different. समता1988 (talk) 13:57, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
Nepal
editI removed the unsourced claim that they are present in Nepal. I notice that a community called Dhanuk are listed here] but there is no way to determine whether it is the same community or some other one using the same name. In particular, that source does not show them in the Dalit grouping but rather as Janajati. - Sitush (talk) 14:22, 6 June 2019 (UTC)
Dhanuk caste is also living in Nepal but majority of community living the Bihar state of India. समता1988 (talk) 13:59, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
