Title Change?
editSince there is only one "Dafur campaign", the disambiguation of (2023) is not needed per WP:MV. Yxuibs (talk) 03:59, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

- Yes, not enough coverage to establish notability that goes beyond 1 event (see WP:EVENT) FuzzyMagma (talk) 15:09, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
Bring back siege of Zalingei?
editThe Siege of Zallingei was a pretty major engagement in the Darfur region that lasted for a few months and a major loss for the Sudanese army. It wasn't just a clash that lasted for a few hours it was a violent battle. I could provide more information as much as I can find if we bring the page back SDUpdates32349 (talk) 11:31, 1 March 2025 (UTC)
- I would be more than willing to bring back the page for it if I can get enough information. Tornadoboy7 (talk) 15:10, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
- please just update the article rather than creating needless articles. You Tornadoboy7 has created multiple articles that could have been easily included in other articles. FuzzyMagma (talk) 17:19, 5 March 2025 (UTC)
- By your statement, every single world war 2 battle must be included in World War 2. Every single Syrian civil war battle must be included in the actual page of the Syrian civil war. More articles are helpful then squeezing every single thing in one article. They are way too long to read. You have merged a lot of articles I've seen. SDUpdates32349 (talk) 12:06, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- How did you figure that from my statement?
- Please stop this nonsense straw man and whataboutism
- Last time I checked, More articles is not the current policy for articles creation. And we have a definition for too long articles and I do not think any thing you have created meets that, so please listen more to editors with more experience at least you until familiar with these policies.
- No one is trying to asking you to stop creating needless articles because we enjoy doing that, it’s just an editorial observation distilled in a comment to avoid cleaning up after you.
- if you still have problems with what I did please take it to WP:ANI. FuzzyMagma (talk) 15:06, 6 March 2025 (UTC)
- I am a relatively inexperienced editor. Since you are a lot more experienced than me, if you feel that my article is too small on its own and should be incorporated with a different one, then that is okay. Tornadoboy7 (talk) 16:34, 6 March 2025 (UTC)

Why is the campaign considered over?
editThe SAF still control the towns of Umbro and Tina and the SLM still control Tawila and other towns. The RSF hasn't taken all of Darfur and we can't say they won't launch further offensives to capture the SAF and SLM areas, so in my eyes it's premature to say the campaign is already over.
