The content of Haplopelma was merged into Cyriopagopus on 18 March 2017. The former page's history now serves to provide attribution for that content in the latter page, and it must not be deleted as long as the latter page exists. For the discussion at that location, see its talk page.

Cyriopagopus nomen dubium?

Should this page be converted to Melopoeus, where most of the Cyriopagopus were moved to following the genus’ change to nomen dubium, or should a new page be made? JGStrub (talk) 19:08, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

I think a new page at Melopoeus is best, since there's enough previous use of this genus name to justify a "historically recognized" article. All the species we currently have in Cyriopagopus need moving, of course. Peter coxhead (talk) 20:03, 8 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
