Three of the sources cited, "11 Most Disease Resistant Peach Trees", "Peach Planting Guide" and "Peachgrove Intermediate School" did not refer to the 'Crosby' cultivar, and so the claims about hardiness zones, the derivation of the name, and chill hours failed verification. The references related to these sources have been replaced with citation needed templates. In contradiction with what was written in the article, the source "The Peaches of New York" states the name 'Crosby' was in honor of Mr Crosby a nurseryman of Billerica, Massachusetts.
