Importance
editThis ought to be considered as mid importance. But the article is very limited at the moment. I will do some work as time allows but I think it would benefit from:
- comparison to similar bodies in other countries such as the USA president advisory council
- a bit more explanation of the process of giving advice
- examples of particular reports which have had an impact e.g. recommending the Alan Turing Institute
- a list of those in the role of independent co-chair
- and of course a suitable image and sources external to the organisation.

- There is a suitable image on this page which says there is an open government licence. I would appreciate advice on whether that means the image could be used as it shows a meeting of CST including the PM sat between the co-chairs.

Quinquennial review
editThis process provides some useful information in 2021 but the 2003 publication was important and I see no archive copy anywhere online: https://depositedpapers.parliament.uk/depositedpaper/2244285/details Ca3tki (talk) 08:07, 5 February 2026 (UTC)
