Page Reads Like Advertisement.
editThis page reads like an advertisement. There is a strong positive bias and a lack of information regarding the school's activities and controversies such as the legal action to exclude birth control from employees' health benefits, the mandatory lifestyle policy which forbids and excludes LGBTQ+ peoples, the strong stance and actions taken against abortion, the recent reworking of curriculum to "dismiss" a number of minority faculty for teaching critical race and social justice, and mandatory gen ed classes that teach pseudoscientific creationism over real peer reviewed and widely accepted scientific paradigms. 108.183.39.180 (talk) 17:20, 15 January 2023 (UTC)
- @108.183.39.180 bumping this and seconding the concern. The page is biased and actively censors unflattering facts about the university such as its publicly available handbook which bans any expression homosexuality. Donutcoffeemug (talk) 03:14, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
Biased and lacking details
editThe article lacks details about its policies, courses, campus, etc. Any edits which cite important information--such as a reported history of its controversial treatment of woman employees' healthcare or its handbook which has specific policies about lgbtq identity expression or extramarital sexuality--are removed. Campus section reads like a desperate advertisement with no content to offer beyond a clocktower. No information on funding sources or budgeting plans and strategy. No history on the university's near loss of accreditation. Donutcoffeemug (talk) 03:39, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
