Removal of material about Mohegan Community College
editI encouraged my acquaintance, Lisa Rue, to be bold. The wholesale removal of a large section of material about Mohegan Community College sure looks to me like biting a newcomer. Most of the material added looked germane to me, and was supported by links to reliable sources. The only obvious problem I see was failure to use the citation mechanism properly. The proper response to that would have been to reformat them correctly. (ADDED) OK, I see that WP:NOT now says "Wikipedia is run by volunteers who are under no obligation to do your work," which is an addition since the time I was seriously active.
I don't see how it was "poorly written" in any respect other than conformance to Wikipedia style.
How would you suggest incorporating this material?

- Sorry but this addition was in such bad shape that it was genuinely confusing to readers. It would need more than just a copy edit and some help with formatting to be acceptable in an article.
- I recommend incorporating the material into the existing article so it's clear why the information is being added instead of just creating several new sections whose connection with the college is not readily apparent. I also recommend not adding new sections or material that is very, very incomplete. That should probably be worked on in a sandbox or offline until it's ready to be added to this encyclopedia article. ElKevbo (talk) 01:20, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
