Riese's estimate of the 7th / 8th century has long been superseded by Bernhard Bischoff's estimate of c. 800 CE; he also located it in Central Italy. I plan to update this if no one has any objection, once I can look up the citation.Msalt (talk) 17:34, 22 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
