Notes about "75%" statement
editI removed the following statement from the article: "Cirrus' revenue is dominated at over 75 % by just one major customer." The referenced material does not say that (https://s21.q4cdn.com/307563939/files/doc_financials/2021/q4/Cirrus-Logic-Investor-April-2021-Presentation_FINAL-(1).pdf), it says "In Q4 FY21, our largest customer represented 76% total revenue". The statement in the article implies this single customer is responsible for over 3/4's of their revenue on an ongoing basis, while the financial statement only declares that for a single quarter. With the single data point, there's no way to tell if it's an anomaly or not. smnc (talk) 16:30, 24 January 2022 (UTC)
May 2026 B-class revision
editComprehensive upgrade from C-class. Changes applied:
- Lead rewritten: removed dead bizjournals.com link; corrected headquarters move date from "since 1998" to "moved in 2000" (per History section and Timeline, both stating April 2000 completion; 1998 was when French joined as COO, not when the move occurred); added Apple revenue-concentration context (89% FY2025); added patent count; tightened prose.
- Infobox: filled empty
| products =field with current product families; standardized formatting. - Products section added (previously absent): audio codecs, smart amplifiers (CS35L series), haptic drivers (CS40L series), power-conversion ICs (from Lion Semiconductor acquisition); Apple customer-concentration paragraph with FY2025 earnings-call citation.
- History: resolved
[citation needed]on Nasdaq IPO (added EDGAR reference); consolidated two back-to-back French/Rhode sentences; removed redundant "M. Yousuf Palla" clause (un-sourced, adds no encyclopedic value); removed dead bizjournals.com URL from lead (retained archived Business Wire source in History). - Timeline: resolved
[citation needed]on 2012 Apex Microtechnology hybrid sale (added investor.cirrus.com press release); standardized date formats; removedfrom Graphics history section (added QEMU documentation citation for emulator claim). This article needs additional citations for verification. - Graphics history: removed three stale
[citation needed]tags on mid-1990s competitive observations (removed the uncited editorial claims about Intel i740 performance rather than tagging); tightened prose; corrected section heading level (Desktop/Mobile to ====subheads==== to match nesting under ===Graphics chipsets===); removed "gate limited" run-on sentence fragment. - See also: added Wolfson Microelectronics.
- Formatting: standardized
