Chromium is based on Konqueror, not vice-versa

edit

Chromium is based on Konqueror, not vice-versa. Whatever version of Konqueror it was (KHTML?) even if Chromium added code to that which is now in Konqueror just Konqueror's fork being brought back into Konqueror (even if replaced entirely, in terms of influence)---dchmelik☀️🦉🐝🐍(talk|contrib) 05:03, 27 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

FireFox based on Chromium

edit

FireFox (FF) is based on Chromium: Chromium 'clone' user interface (unfortunately) and tried to adopt Chromium's addons/extensions/plugins system, while isn't exact, many/most work in FF (don't know if vice-verse, but FF ended pre-Chrome addons system)--dchmelik☀️🦉🐝🐍(talk|contrib) 05:06, 27 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Feel free to amend the article accordingly. You just need a reliable cite to back it up. Barte (talk) 05:19, 28 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
Mozilla (who makes FireFox) stated this themselves, which is documented at many such sources, but I don't think I will, as it's only partially Chromium-based.--dchmelik☀️🦉🐝🐍(talk|contrib) 04:53, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply
