Career section

In 1985, he appeared in the pilot episode of Street Hawk. The following year, he played the reviled Professor B.O. Beanes on the television series Amazing Stories. In 1988, he was cast as the lead in a CBS sitcom titled The Dictator, which was scheduled to premiere in March of that year. However, the 1988 Writers Guild of American strike took effect on March 7, 1988, and only two episodes of The Dictator had been shot by that date. CBS, not wanting to air a new series with so few episodes, pulled the show from its schedule before it premiered, and it was canceled in April while the WGA strike was in progress. Needs more from the 1960s & 70s

I came here to see what Lloyd was doing prior to One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest and Taxi. There's some info here, but it's pretty sparse. Some Broadway and other stage work, but not enough is described to fill the 60s and early 70s. He's had such an active career since then, it just seems puzzling. I wonder if he was working outside of acting to pay the rent. John2510 (talk) 20:05, 7 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
