Article Move/Rescope Propose

I'd like to suggest this article be rescoped into a joint biography of both Chris and Shane Houghton. From what I can tell; most sources refer to the brothers jointly so a rescope could increase the subject(s') notability and would make more sense than 2 separate articles as there mostly spoken about together rather than as singular individuals. I think this suggestion makes some sense, but it would likely result in an unbalanced joint article. While the Houghton brothers are usually mentioned together in connection with Big City Greens, that’s about as far as it goes. Shane did work on Harvey Beaks and co-wrote the Reed Gunther series, but the sources I’ve used provide far more detail on Chris’s animation career overall.

In other words, if Shane were to have his own article, it would likely be a stub. I personally don't think the solution is to split Chris's biography. Tvfunhouse (talk) 21:55, 23 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Per WP:IMDB/BLP, IMDb generally can't be used as a source for biographical information on Wikipedia as it is mostly user-generated content. I'm not sure Houghton's birthday is published anywhere online, but if it is, it has to be from a reliable source to be included here. Tvfunhouse (talk) 04:35, 28 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
