My work plan is to fix the format of the article title, add a section talking about other autism screening tools and how they compare with the Childhood Autism Spectrum Test (CAST), add a section about recommended interventions/next steps depending on results of the CAST and note any limitations the CAST may have. I had posted this on your user talk page on 3/21, but I'm not sure if that was the correct place to put it, so I'm adding my suggested edits here as well.

Hi I split my feedback into section, as the Peer Review instructions suggested. Please let me know if you have any questions or want any clarifications :)

Lead Section- I think it introduces the topic well. It is concise and does not have extraneous information.

Content- I think the content that is present is good and is up to date. I think beneficial sections that could be added would be indications for the test and limitations of the test. I think also hitting on what it means to get a positive/negative result. I think it could also be clearer exactly what the score cutoff is. Another idea might be what are the next steps after receiving a positive test result. I'm not sure if this exists, but if there is any data or anything to compare this test to other autism screening methods, I feel like that could be useful information to have. I think this article has a good start but could also benefit from from further additions.

Tone & Balance- I think the tone is neutral and I am not detecting any bias present in the writing. It seems that the facts are presented in a very straightforward manor and that there is not one certain viewpoint that is dominating.

Sources & References- There is no citation in the format section, however everything else appears to be cited. The sources are a variety of newer and older sources. The sources I clicked on were accessible.

Organization- The content is well organized and clearly split. I do not see any grammar errors in the article.

Images & Media- N/A

Overall- I do think the article as it exists is well organized and the work that is in it is of a good quality. There are some aspects that I think could be added to further strengthen the article and ensure that someone reading gets a more thorough understanding. I mentioned ideas that I had in the content section, but of course I am not an expert on this subject, so those are simply things that I thought about during reading that could enhance the reader's experience. Overall, very clearly written. Ekku2025 (talk) 14:26, 24 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the feedback. You brought up a good point! I was able to find more info about the score cutoff and what a higher score on the CAST means as well as recommended interventions. I added in strengths and limitations of using CAST as a screening tool for autism. Hopefully this helps strengthen the article and give readers a better overview of the content.
