File:Hasni2.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion
editAn image used in this article, File:Hasni2.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons for the following reason: Copyright violations
Don't panic; deletions can take a little longer at Commons than they do on Wikipedia. This gives you an opportunity to contest the deletion (although please review Commons guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

He was killed for being Arab
editWe perfectly know that the Harki-Berberist military apparatus orchestrated these targeted assassinations and blamed everything on the Islamists to tarnish the image of Islam. Cheb Hasni is the ultimate proof of this; he was killed specifically for being a unifying Arab icon that the Francophile generals couldn't control. It is an absolute shame that people dare to mention him alongside Lounes Matoub. Matoub was a radical separatist who hated Arabs and despised the very idea of a unified Algeria. He was a complete Francophone tool who called for division and ethnic hatred. Don't compare a man who sang for the people (Hasni) with a terrorist who wanted to destroy the nation. ~2026-49500-8 (talk) 05:01, 25 January 2026 (UTC)
