Notability
edit@Dclemens1971 I have added more material for this article and will continue to add. Please tell me why you feel that this article does not meet notability standards.
I believe that Gainza is notable for her accomplishments in the Chilean government as Undersecretary (which is a post comparable to a cabinet position in the U.S.) as well as her seminal work in Chilean digital literature. LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 16:28, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- Cross posted from my talk page: I do not believe Under Secretary is the equivalent to a cabinet position. The equivalent of a cabinet secretary is the minister of the Chilean ministry. There is also no evidence of her notability under WP:NACADEMIC. For example, her h-index is quite low, indicating a lack of academic influence. Can you share the sources that you think support her notability? Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:35, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- The electronic literature field is a small, but vital field of inquiry. The h-index, which counts the number of citations, does not reflect the importance of this field. I am doing more research, and would appreciate more time to respond. Thank you. LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 16:31, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
- I removed the tag; while I still don't see strong evidence of an NACADEMIC pass, an NAUTHOR pass is confirmed. Dclemens1971 (talk) 02:45, 2 June 2025 (UTC)

Edit Summary attribution requirement for articles translated in whole or in part from another language Wikipedia
editLoveElectronicLiterature - As you state here that you translated some parts of the article from the ES-WP version, you must adhere to the licensing requirement stated here: Help:Translation#Licensing which includes this Edit Summary example: Content in this edit is translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:es:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution. It's okay that you were unaware of this requirement before you began the translation (we are all new at various things on Wikipedia), but now that you are aware, your compliance is required by adding this Edit Summary to her article. As an example, see this page history of an article I translated from ES-WP last month. Thank you (and let me know if you have any questions). --Rosiestep (talk) 15:45, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oh dear! I was translating and going through the original references and more or less writing. So I don't know how many actual words I took from those articles! But I will go back and add that warning to the two I've done so far. Thank you!! LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 21:56, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
Link notice
editI have done some linking for Carolina Gainza for electronic literature and Chilean politics, but someone more versed in Digital Culture and sociology could find appropriate links there? ThanksLoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 21:08, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
