First outbreak
editHello, Why is the "First outbreak" on the infobox "Milan, Italy"? Is it because the index case was Italian? The Covid-19 disease first broke out in December 2019 at the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China which resulted in a Pandemic and subsequently entered Nigeria on the 27th of February, so I think the "First outbreak" should be "Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market" just as the here, here and here. I'd like to listen to contrary opinions on this before I make the edit.--Archmedhis (talk) 04:47, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Archmedhis, you're right, the only reason why the Infobox is showing Milan, Italy is because it came from there to Nigeria. The countries (India and Canada) you used as examples is having Wuhan,China, because it came from there directly to their countries. Best, —Nnadigoodluck🇳🇬 06:02, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
- Did further research and found you are right, even though it doesn't seem right Epidemiologically because the first outbreak of the Pandemic was recorded in Wuhan but I guess I'm wrong, Regards--Archmedhis (talk) 08:19, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
Timeline
editAfter the April subsection in the Timeline section (and a bit before that) until October, there is an unbelievable amount of prose. It makes no sense to include all of the text. It can be summed up in a chart, and it is really repetitive. It should not be in this article.

- I agree with 108.14.66.2. Maybe somebody could create a separate article devoted to the timeline of the pandemic in Nigeria. I definitely think that it isn't necessary to include "On 21 March 2020, 10 cases were reported. On 22 March 8 cases were reported." And so on all the way to November. In fact I think this is the reason why the references are not rendering properly on this page. Maybe we could just have "In June this many cases and deaths were reported. There was this many active cases", like how that kind of statement is there for November, December, January and February. Fuadach (talk) 03:09, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
