Let's review this.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 08:53, 17 May 2025 (UTC)
- "The main appeal of the game was its increased realism". Not neutral.
- There is something wrong in the second paragraph from Development. Too trivial, too long, too many brief sentences. Try to trim it, merge it with the third one, and rewrite the sentences into a more fluid prose.
- "rer-eleased". This is a typo, isn't it?
@Tintor2: Thats' all.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 10:32, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Revised all but I can't find the first point. Tintor2 (talk) 12:02, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Nevermind. I found the other one. Thanks for the review. Tintor2 (talk) 12:06, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
OK! So. This article is brief, I know, but IMHO it still covers the main aspects of the game and can be still listed as a GA. The sources are reliable. I can provide some evidence of the sources mentioned in the article:
- "A lot of the world and characters had already been created before I joined the development, but after I joined, my senior colleague threw all that in the trash bin and said 'Now that you’re here Hiroaki, it's your job to come up with all that!' However, even though I was supposedly given free reign, whenever I brought my ideas they’d tell me 'Oh, that's not the image we're going for.' So I had to do many, many retakes. (laughs) As far as the work itself went, the characters' personalities and nationalities were set, so figuring out how to convey that visually was my main job ... For Ryo Sakazaki'.s design, I really hated his orange dogi, so I took it upon myself to change it to a more chic color. 'Now this is cool,' I thought to myself, and I took the liberty of giving him some stubble too". (note 21)
- This page shows the results of the survey mentioned in the text: Tono Hinako, Sakai Nanami, Koda Hikaru, Marukame Midori, and Sakurada Shizue.
- "Buriki One: World Grapple Tournament '99 in Tokyo was SNK’s only attempt at creating a somewhat realistic fighting game. The 2D fighting powerhouse decided to incorporate some unprecedented game mechanics in this title." (MSN review, note 3)
The images are OK, the article is well-written and with a good prose. Very easy to read and understand. Pass.--TeenAngels1234 (talk) 06:47, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
