Top Gear
editI have noticed that this article mentions about Top Gear and their reviews a lot which makes it biased because a car should be judged in general by the automotive press, not solely by three motoring journalists. U1Quattro (talk) 05:01, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
Primary units
edit@Stepho-wrs: Regarding your revert: the spec sheet provides the numbers in kilowatts. Getsnoopy (talk) 09:55, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- Apologies if I was a bit rash. The references I saw were http://www.bugatti.com/veyron/veyron-164/#technology (figures in German horsepower, which means PS) and http://media.caranddriver.com/files/bugatti-veyron-164bugatti-veyron-spec-sheet.pdf (not loading). So I only saw PS figures. Since they make a big deal about 1001 hp (actually PS, but close enough), it seems better to use the 1001 figure. Of course, we display kW first but the PS figure is much easier to verify through the references. Stepho talk 12:20, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
- @Stepho-wrs: I think changing the references to https://assets.bugatti.com/fileadmin/media/Media/Veyron/Veyron_16.4/Technical_Specifications_Bugatti_Veyron_16.4.pdf and https://assets.bugatti.com/fileadmin/media/Media/Veyron/Super_Sport/Technical_Specifications_Bugatti_Veyron_16.4_Super_Sport.pdf would solve this issue, since they list kilowatts first there and because the Template:Convert doesn't have a way to flip the order of the units with just the first of the output units. For example, flipping it with multiple output units does this: 736 kW; 987 bhp (1,001 PS)
- The new references are good.
{{cvt}}has a lot flexibility via|order=out. Eg:

- I can't think of a combination/order that I can't get. Stepho talk 22:23, 21 January 2020 (UTC)
