Brittany Spears (basketball) → Brittany Spears – The pop star's name isn't Brittany, there's a 3-letter difference, plus a hatnote already exists. The fictional character's name isn't close. Timmyshin (talk) 21:13, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

- Oppose – The common spelling variation difference is much more likely to be the result of a lack of familiarity than an indication that a person is looking for an article about a basketball player (that, by the way, fails WP:GNG, as it cites no unaffiliated third-party reliable sources). The move would result in too much of WP:SURPRISE and confusion. Not everyone knows exactly how the well-known celebrity entertainer spells her name. —BarrelProof (talk) 00:12, 9 May 2015 (UTC)
