Suggestions for Improving Article Structure, Sourcing, and Neutrality

edit

A few improvements may bring this biographical article closer in line with Wikipedia's content standards, particularly with regard to WP:NPOV, WP:RS, and WP:BIO.

1. Reliance on Primary and Affiliated Sources A significant number of the references currently cited are either Linden’s own website (Go Vegan Radio) or friendly affiliate platforms (e.g., vegparadise.com). To strengthen the article’s reliability and neutrality, it would be helpful to replace or supplement these with independent, third-party secondary sources. Has Linden or his program received coverage in major newspapers, independent magazines, or academic publications?

2. Article Organization The structure could be improved by organizing content into standard biographical headings (e.g., “Early life,” “Career in broadcasting,” “Activism and advocacy,” etc.). This would make the article more accessible and help separate factual reporting from interpretive or anecdotal material.

3. Tone and Neutrality Issues Some sections contain language that may not be fully neutral (e.g., "used his influence," "campaigning in opposition to..."). These could be reworded for clarity and neutrality, and unsourced claims should be removed per WP:V and WP:NPOV.

4. Notability and Balance There is currently very limited information on how Linden’s work has been received by the broader public, media, or academic community. Are there reviews, controversies, or third-party assessments of Go Vegan Radio? Including this kind of information would better establish notability and ensure the article reflects a balanced viewpoint.

5. Citation Quality Several of the reference links are either dead or repeated multiple times. A cleanup of the references, use of archive links where appropriate, and elimination of redundancy would improve readability and maintainability.

If others agree, I’d be happy to begin working on a draft restructure or sourcing cleanup. Feedback welcome, but I would rather that others work on it.MaynardClark (talk) 05:22, 15 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
