Mr 60%
editRegarding the nickname "Mr. 60%" and "The earliest mention of the nickname can be traced to interviews with riders of Festina in 1998-2000", I believe I read about this nickname earlier than 1998 in an issue of Cycle Sport magazine (http://www.cyclesport.co.uk/)
I no longer hold any back issues so I can't give an exact issue number, but if someone does have old copies around and wants to flip through them, keep an eye out for this.
CSC press meeting friday 25 may.
editKeep an eye out for the pressmeeting tomorrow!

1996 olympics?
editThere is category "Cyclists at the 1996 Summer Olympics", but the only mention about Olympics is "When he was not selected for the 1984 Summer Olympics". Why not anything about 1996 Games? Even if he did not drive any races, there could be something about it? 86.115.105.204 (talk) 01:14, 4 August 2024 (UTC)
Undue weight given to Riis doping
editWhy should 4/5 opening paragraphs of Riis mention his doping, with 3 of them being solely about his doping? This was during a time before an EPO test was even available, meaning everyone was doing it. If you didnt, just see what happened to Greg Lemond - went from winning in 1990 to not even top 5 the next year. Even Lance Armstrong, who went to much greater lengths to conceal his doping, is not treated this harshly on his page. ~2025-44026-41 (talk) 10:22, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
