Better lead

I believe it would be useful to add a more elaborate definition for the lead because in order to establish a good lead the topic should be properly summarized and eloquently explained because for all we know the reader knows nothing about the topic. I've made some edits to the lead, thanks for pointing out some shortcomings. It's good practice to add sources to the lead as well (although not cumpulsory) and to summarise text from the main article, i.e. you should not add content that appears only in the lead but not elsewhere. Please remove the weird picture inside a picture

Hello everyone! Inside the image "Deforestation in Indonesia" another image was inserted ("The Anthropocene triple threat"). That image carries zero information and its location looks weird. I removed the additional image, but the user @Ohnoitsjamie returned it to the article. Ohnoitsjamie, can you explain why the image is necessary for the article and why it has to be placed inside another image? Rijikk (talk) 08:38, 10 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
