editWhat were you expecting?
When I saw this on german news, it was presented as "wow this is interesting, a ringtone song actually becomming number 1!!" But is the ringtone really connected to the song? The only way that would be possible is if the ringtone was for more advanced phones that could playback an entire waveform sample of the entire song. Surely a MIDI based synthesized or wavetable ringtone of the crazy frog version would be indistinguishable from the original.

How the hell did this song get to #1 in so many places, it is the most annoying piece of shiat song ive ever heard? is everyone in those countries 8 years old?
I Have to agree that the song is really really really total shit and either half of the world is deaf or that everybody under 16 is brain dead. Ae12079410 17:28, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Italicised title
editShouldn't the title be italicised, as it is a work? It seems like every instance of the title is in quotation marks, could this have been trying to make it italics or is there a specific reason? GrampaSwood (talk) 18:24, 30 March 2026 (UTC)
