In 2024, the club was announced as one of the participants in the video game Copa City. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2210520/COPA_CITY/ https://pl.copacity.club/ Chickendonut (talk) 13:12, 10 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Mention of 1913 Suffragette attack on old Manor Ground stadium removed?

edit

I could not find any talk pages regarding this, so apologies if it's already been discussed!

I was browsing other pages (namely Ewood Park) and found that it linked back to this page regarding Suffragettes causing a fire and subsequent destruction of the grandstand of the Manor Ground staidum in Plumstead. This article talks about it, but there's no mention of it on this Arsenal page, the Manor Ground page, or the Highbury.

This seems like a significant historical detail which appears to have been removed from these pages given Arsenal_F.C.#Stadium_destruction_and_move_to_North_London. At a glance, it would appear that this attack and subsequent destruction was a major factor in moving to Highbury, so this seems like an odd event to exclude. Definitely should be mentioned in some form. I think the history section and just the whole article generally should be rewritten, bit of a mess atm. Idiosincrático (talk) 15:31, 19 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Arsenal were founded on December 1st not 11th. Played first game on the 11th. Please correct. Thank you. ~2025-39787-62 (talk) 04:52, 10 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Conflating the holding company with the men’s team

edit

Kronkie Sports and Entertainment own the holding company of Arsenal FC which is called ‘The Arsenal football club’.

That holding company has subsidiaries of the men’s and woman’s clubs. The men’s club is not the holding company. The ‘full name’ and company at companies house are the holding company not the men’s team.

It is wrong to say he men’s team is the holding company and this must not be allowed to remain the case. ~2025-38470-92 (talk) 15:25, 18 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

Arsenal kit history

edit

The image of Arsenal's original kit as wine color with blue and white socks is not well substantiated in the references, or in history. Please see https://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Arsenal/Arsenal.htm for a good discussion and some real sources. I would like to see this section changed and actual sources referenced to document Arsenal's kit colors through history. Xkoenig (talk) 02:39, 17 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Arsenal rivalries

edit

The Arsenal and Manchester City rivalry should be summarised like the other ones in the rivalries section. ~2026-25940-83 (talk) 18:45, 28 April 2026 (UTC)Reply

Partly done: Changed to 4 as that's the correct number (COYG ❤️) LuniZunie(talk) 20:48, 19 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Oops! Should be 14, misread the sentence as "prem" titles, not "league" titles. LuniZunie(talk) 13:16, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply

Regarding rivalries. Since its emergence as a top 6 club, Arsenal has had a recently growing rivalry with Manchester City. Especially whilst both challenged for the Premiership title in recent years. Dsv-wiki (talk) 04:05, 4 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
