Named what?

edit
In the 1840s the Henty brothers established a whaling station at Point Bunbury on the western end of the bay, which was named by a Captain Loutit in 1845, after he had sheltered from a storm there in his ship, the Apollo.

This had me perplexed. I couldn’t tell if the bay or the whaling station was named by Loutit, nor whether he had named it Point Bunbury or Apollo. But the Dec2017 text is clear: so reinserted.  Preceding unsigned comment added by MBG02 (talkcontribs) 17:10, 1 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Requested Edit: Addition to Tourism Section.

edit

Hello, I am declaring a Conflict of Interest as I represent a client managing BIG4 Apollo Bay. I believe adding a brief, factual mention of the park would improve the Tourism section of this article. Here is a neutral draft with independent citations. Could an independent editor please review and add this to the page?

"BIG4 Apollo Bay Pisces Holiday Park is an accommodation provider situated in Apollo Bay along the Great Ocean Road. The park provides a range of lodging options, including unpowered campsites, glamping tents, and accessible three-bedroom cabins. Recognised in national travel media as a family holiday destination, the park features amenities such as an indoor jumping pillow, flying fox, and water play facilities. Due to its coastal location, the site also serves as a vantage point for seasonal whale watching between May and October."
