American Securities Capital Partners → American Securities – Relisted. Does it need or not need disambiguation? Vegaswikian (talk) 20:53, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- American Securities officially changed its name from American Securities Capital Partners to American Securities LLC on June 8, 2009. This information can be verified on American Securities' website in the firm's Terms of Use at the bottom of every page. [1] KMS0044 (talk) 15:59, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- There are many financial entities that could be described as "American securities". A disambig addition to the name is needed: e.g. American Securities (firm)? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 22:29, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- I support a move but disagree that there needs to be a disambiguation. There is nothing in Wikipedia named American Securities so I don't see why a disambiguation would be required. I assume if the firm was able to secure the American Securities LLC name this precludes other firms from using the same name. |► ϋrбanяeneωaℓ • TALK ◄| 02:30, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
- Oppose American Securities is a generic phrase that could, and would more likely, refer to various US securities. In this particular case, I think disambiguation is wise. Perhaps American Securities, LLC? --rgpk (comment) 21:10, 13 September 2011 (UTC)
- I don't believe that there needs to be disambiguation because "American Securities is a registered trademark of American Securities LLC."[2] There are no other financial entities with this exact name. KMS0044 (talk) 15:33, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
- Support. American Securities is a redlink, so even if it is ambiguous, this firm is the primary topic. We do not preemptively disambiguate. Jenks24 (talk) 18:17, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

Update the logo in the infobox
edit| The user below has a request that an edit be made to American Securities. That user has an actual or apparent conflict of interest. The requested edits backlog is very high. Please be extremely patient. There are currently 534 requests waiting for review. Please read the instructions for the parameters used by this template for accepting and declining them, and review the request below and make the edit if it is well sourced, neutral, and follows other Wikipedia guidelines and policies. |
- What I think should be changed:
Please update the company logo in the infobox. The current file (File:American_Securities_logo.svg) is outdated and needs to be replaced with the current official logo.
Because I have a Conflict of Interest (COI) as a representative of the company, I have not uploaded the new file myself to avoid copyright/licensing complications. The new official logo can be found on our server here for an independent editor to upload under fair use: https://assets-american-securities.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/system/uploads/fae/image/asset/44/AmSec-logo-image.jpg
- Why it should be changed:
American Securities underwent a brand redesign, and the old logo no longer accurately represents the organization. Updating the logo ensures the article remains accurate and compliant with Wikipedia's guidelines for corporate infoboxes.
- References supporting the possible change (format using the "cite" button):
The new logo can be verified across all official company channels, including the homepage: https://www.american-securities.com/, LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/company/american-securities/, and others
