Padampura, shristi khand,ahdyaya 16, slok 132/133 describes that girl found as "abhirakanya rupadhya sunasa charulochana , na devi na cha gandarvi basuri na chapannagi" which means " she was daughter of abhiras endowed with fine nose charming eyes and unmatched beauty ". Upon success of yagna she was gyatri. The abhiras who were unaware & anxious about what happened were told about gyatri divinity and boon was bestowed-"for the fulfillment of divine mission i shall take birth in your family when Nanda and others will take birth said by lord Vishnu to abhiras
2. Skanda puran, vaisnavakhanda, vasudevamahatmya, chapter16 where nandrai and Vrsabhanu is called Gopa/gowla, in garag sangita vrishjit khand nanad baba was called aheer in bhagavata puran, canto:1, cha: 14 nanad, sunand is mentioned as prime yaduvanshi, Bhagavata puran chanti:10 , ch:5 vashudev ji and nanad baba were mentioned as cousin brother as they had same grand father 'king devamida'

4. Raja prithvidas rathore of bikaner on his compensation" krishna rukmini ri veli calls krishna as ahir.
5. Ishawardas barhat, the chaaran raj born in 1515badmer( jaisalmer bhati kingdom) complied"harirasa" where he describes krishna as ahir.

7.Tulsi das ji mentioned krishna ji as abhira in his krishna geetwali.
8. In Padma Purana Saraswati Mata said she will be born in gopa vansh and she was born as Gayatri Mata and in harivansh purana krishna is said to be a gopa as well as king yadu is also called gopa.
9.The abhiras which attacked the krishna Ji's descendants. They were the one's fighting for duryudhan in Mahabharata and later when they knew that they were krishna Ji's family the ones who haven't fleed realised their mistake and left the remaining family. Hence the lineage again continued
10.Hemchandra a king of abhiras was called yadav as well as abhira by a monk late in 8th century.

14.Narsinh Mehta,also know as narsinh Bhagat,was a 15th century Brahmin saint of Gujarat, India, honoured as the first poet, or adi kavi, of the gujarrati language called shree Krishna as ahir.
