Edit request: Comprehensive update (Euro 2024, statistics, Panathinaikos career, and image)
edit
I would like to request a comprehensive update to this article, as several sections are currently outdated or could be expanded with reliably sourced information.
---
1. International career (UEFA Euro 2024): Please add that Čerin was included in Slovenia’s squad for UEFA Euro 2024 and made four appearances as the team reached the round of 16.
Suggested text: Čerin was included in Slovenia’s squad for UEFA Euro 2024, making four appearances as the team reached the round of 16.[1]
---
2. Update club statistics (Panathinaikos): The current statistics section appears outdated and should be updated using reliable sources.
- UEFA profile (official competitions): https://www.uefa.com/european-qualifiers/teams/players/250088708--adam-gnezda-cerin/
- ESPN match data: https://www.espn.com/soccer/player/matches/_/id/257705/adam-gnezda-cerin
- Transfermarkt (detailed career statistics): https://www.transfermarkt.com/adam-gnezda-cerin/leistungsdaten/spieler/401394
These sources provide updated appearances, goals, and competition data for both domestic and European matches.
---
3. Update Panathinaikos career section: The club career section could be expanded to reflect his ongoing role.
Suggested addition: Since joining Panathinaikos in 2022, Čerin has established himself as a regular member of the midfield, contributing consistently in the Super League Greece and European competitions.[2]
---
4. Add/expand international role context: Suggested addition: Čerin has become a regular member of the Slovenia national team, featuring in UEFA European Championship qualifiers and major tournaments.[3]
---
5. Honours: If supported, the following team honour could be included:
- Greek Cup: 2023–24 (Panathinaikos)[4]
---
6. Player image update: The current image appears outdated. If a more recent image (e.g. from 2024 or later) is available on Wikimedia Commons, it would improve the article.

Thank you for your time and consideration. Sportyunicorn1234 (talk) 11:00, 1 April 2026 (UTC)
- And who is preventing you to make those edits by yourself? And by the way, you cannot use anything from transfermarkt, its an unreliable user-generated website so don't bother taking any stats from there. And don't know where did you get an idea that he was born in Idrija, this is also obviously not correct as it is literally impossible to be born there unless he was born illegally at home.
