AFC championship game is wrong for 27-24 chiefs win in 2021
editBills played this game 57.132.148.92 (talk) 04:35, 27 January 2025 (UTC)
- The Chiefs beat the Bills in January 2021, but the AFC Championship game was considered part of the 2020 season. Likewise, the Chiefs lost to the Bengals 27–24 in OT in January 2022, where the game was considered part of the 2021 season. That's where I think the confusion is coming from. Overtime games
editThe Chiefs Browns match up which took place in 2021(2020 season) is listed as an overtime championship game yet it was a divisional game. Spoonmemes (talk) 09:59, 28 January 2025 (UTC)
- Where are you seeing a Chiefs Browns match up for 2021? Assadzadeh (talk) 13:31, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

I suggest you change : The Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only two AFC teams to appear in at least one AFC Championship game in every decade since 1970.
to : in every completed decade since 1970; so far neither team has appeared in a conference game in 2020s. ~2025-31316-81 (talk) 14:51, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

- The broncos are the only afc team to play in the championship in six different decades! Update this & remove the Steelers! ~2025-42284-29 (talk) 20:25, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
