Declaring conflict of interest & providing new introduction content

edit

Hi everyone. Our company has been requested by AA Insurance to edit their Wikipedia article, so I am declaring my conflict of interest.

We will be providing content edits for review to gradually expand this article with rich but factual and objective information. Our goal here is to provide more information on AA Insurance's offerings & operations while remaining non-self promotional.

To start, we will request that the introduction section of this article be updated with the following copy:

AA Insurance is an independently operated insurance company operating in New Zealand. It is a joint venture between the New Zealand Automobile Association (NZAA) and Suncorp Group. The company has two main offices in New Zealand—one located in Auckland and the other in Hamilton.

They offer home, contents, car insurance, and small business insurance. The company is known for its direct-to-consumer approach, underwriting its own policies and selling directly to New Zealanders and operates primarily through physical branches, phone, and online channels.

As of 2026, AA Insurance is utilised by approximately 560,000+ New Zealand customers and employs more than 1,100 staff nationwide. In the 2025 financial year they have paid out NZD $548 million in claims [1].
