Michgan Wolverines
editI think it's interesting that the 2010 Michigan Wolverines are listed as adherents of the 3-3-5 defense when they gave up an average of 35 points a game!--TobusRex (talk) 06:36, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
Michigan Wolverines
editThe Michigan did indeed use the 3-3-5 defense under head coach Rich Rodriguez and defensive coordinator Greg Robinson. Unfortunately, the Wolverines defense was really underwhelming this year with their defense giving up 458 total points that season. This would all add up to them giving up 35.2 points a game and would cause them to be 108th nationally in total defense. This team had some major issues when it came to passing defense. This defense let their opponents complete 63.8% of their passes which is not ideal for getting major stops in big moments. To sum all of this up the Michigan 3-3-5 was pretty modern for the most part, but it was just really ineffective. (https://www.sports-reference.com) Bryston02 (talk) 16:27, 26 April 2026 (UTC)
