First Anglo-French final
editThis is the first EC/UCL final involving a team from England vs a team from France. Teams from Europe's top five leagues will now have played in the final in every permutation except for France v France. This is my own observation, I'm still looking for a reliable source for this. --Jameboy (talk) 23:36, 19 May 2026 (UTC)
- If I remember correctly the Hungarian commentators did mention that this was the first Anglo-French final but I'm not 100% certain. LeventeHUN (talk) 17:51, 2 June 2026 (UTC)

[1] Change in the beginning 'Hungarian: 2026-ös UEFA Bajnokok Ligája döntő' to 'Hungarian: 2026-os UEFA Bajnokok Ligája döntő'
The change: 'ö' to 'o'
Reason: In Hungarian, the suffix attached to a year number must follow vowel harmony rules. The number 2026 is read as kétezerhuszonhat, which ends in the back vowel a. According to Hungarian vowel harmony, back-vowel words take back-vowel suffixes, so the correct adjectival suffix is -os (back vowel), not -ös (front vowel). Therefore the correct form is 2026-os, not 2026-ös. This can be verified by any Hungarian grammar reference or native speaker (as myself).
[2] Change at Penalty shoot-out part: "Rice, Hakimi, Martinelli, and Bernaldo"
The change: "Bernaldo" to "Beraldo"
