Hey, well done on this article! Earwig shows no copyright issues and it appears to be neutral. It appears to be stable as the last times there were reverts etc was in August (and it doesn't appear to be an edit war). Here are my comments/concerns:
- Could you please move the ref in the lead down to the the main prose please? And could you please put the information in the main prose too please?
Done
- Is there any information on what "CS" stands for and why it is called "Cranberry Cup"?
- You may recall that we had this exact discussion when you reviewed 2020 CS Budapest Trophy. I'm going to copy what I wrote then:
- I hate that the article's title includes CS. That is a stylistic holdover that has continued on Wikipedia even though CS is not part of the competition's actual name. I think the rationale is that it clarifies that the competition was part of the Challenger Series. I don't like it, because the competition was not called the "2020 Challenger Series Budapest Trophy". However, renaming the article to remove the CS is not a change I can unilaterally make as it would require undoing hundreds of similar articles, and would require the consensus of the FS Project and would likely face pushback. What I can do is not use the phrase anywhere in the article, nor do I use the abbreviation CS. If you examine the tables at Budapest Trophy, for example, you will see that the CS is used to notate events which were part of the Challenger Series, but a notation is provided explaining that abbreviation.
- As for where did the name "Cranberry Cup" come from, I don't know. The cranberry is the official state fruit of Massachusetts, but anything beyond that would just be speculation. 🤷
- "The 2025–26 Challenger Series consisted of eleven events, of which the Cranberry Cup International was the first." - Could you please source this?
- Good catch.

- Good catch.
- "Changes to preliminary assignments" - Could you please write a brief prose of the changes?
- We usually don't include more than the table unless the withdrawal is something newsworthy (ie. a skater withdrew because the luggage with their skates was lost by the airline, which has happened more times than you'd think, a skater got COVID, etc.). As you can see, most of these are not notable skaters (as evidenced by the redlinks); there was nothing beyond their names were dropped from the roster.
- "Changes to preliminary assignments" - The sources used are Twitter, which is considered unreliable. It is okay in this case because it is the main account but are there are secondary sources or non-social media sources that could be used?
- It's not that Twitter itself is unreliable (well, it is, but that's a whole other matter...), but there are exceptions, like you say. And with smaller competitions like this, this is usually the only way such withdrawals and additions are communicated.
- Can you please centre the refs in the table of "Changes to preliminary assignments"?
- Everything else on that table is left-justified; I feel like that would look awkward.
- "Shin Ji-a, four-time World Junior Championship silver medalist, was visibly nervous" - This seems subjective - Could you please change it to something like "appeared to be visibly nervous" or "Kat Cornetta from Figure Skaters Online opined that she was "visibly nervous" for neutrality?
Done
Please let me know when you have addressed the above and I will do a source spotcheck. Please let me know if you need any assistance or have any questions :) DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 09:30, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
User:DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Holy cow, that is the absolute fastest I have ever seen one of my GA nominations get picked up and processed! I believe I have addressed all of your suggestions, as well as made a few cosmetic changes of my own. Please let me know if you need anything else, and thank you! Bgsu98 (Talk) 10:01, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
Also, let me know from what category I should choose my pledge review. BTW, you should sign up for this – Wikipedia:WikiCup – if you haven't already! Bgsu98 (Talk) 10:02, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hey, thank you for the changes. I am glad I was fast in reviewing it! I have spotchecked Sources #9, #12 and #18. Just a note, this source says it is the 2024 version - it is still relevant to 2025? DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 10:35, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
User:DaniloDaysOfOurLives: Good question. Yes, that is the most recently published version. Bgsu98 (Talk) 10:37, 2 January 2026 (UTC)
