Ranking Inclusion/Non-inclusion for non-CFP teams
editGiven that the rankings on the CFP bracket section of the article are the seeds, rather than their CFP final ranking (i.e. Tulane @ 20 and JMU @ 24), I'd assume that we're not including the CFP/AP rankings for the remainder of the teams under the regular bowl section heading? I'm sure there's probably a precedent for this given previous years (esp. last year) but I just wanted to make sure!
At-large teams
editI don't want to just change it in case someone knows more than I do. But I'm not sure how correct any of this is. The Gator Bowl is ACC vs SEC. Why is UVA listed as an at-large team??? The Salute to Veterans bowl is SBC vs MAC. So JSU is an at-large team, but I don't see why Troy would be. I'm a little outside my wheelhouse so in case there is some weirdness of the bowl selection process right now, I wanted to check first and see if there is some reason for this. -- B (talk) 00:35, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
- You're talking about the "At-large bowl games" section here, right? I don't know what that's supposed to show. I'm going to remove it, but I'd be open to further discussion. — Mudwater (Talk) 01:51, 8 December 2025 (UTC)
