- Article is stable. SSSB (talk) 18:08, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Article is well illustrated. Images are suitable and appropriate. SSSB (talk) 18:08, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Copyvio detector raises no issues, will continue to check sources by hand as part of WP:V checks. SSSB (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Some of the sources was dead, I have changed their status: Special:Diff/1302967409, Special:Diff/1302968257. SSSB (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
Requires action
- The image of the headquarters of Rally Liepāja in 2015 is not a good choice. It seems to be taken on a random day when there isn't anything there. It is also at night, which makes it hard to see that there is nothing to see. And it isn't even clear that the headquarters of Rally Latvia is in the same place. In my opinion this image detractes from the article and does not meet MOS:IMAGERELEVANCE for the reasons mentioned. SSSB (talk) 18:08, 27 July 2025 (UTC)
- Removed. Unnamelessness (talk) 02:48, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
- "The 2024 season was contested over thirteen rounds crossing Europe, Africa, South America and Asia." This should be "across", not "crossing". SSSB (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- "The rally was held on gravel roads that range from" should be past tense. I.e. "ranged" instead of "range". SSSB (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- The sentence about Rally Mexico in the calendar section needs to be updated with info about if Mexico made it on to the 2025 calendar. SSSB (talk) 21:47, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- The bullet point about Rally Estonia in the calendar section should either be with the Rally Latvia bullet point. Or, you could mention that Rally Estonia was replaced by Rally Latvia in the Rally Estonia bullet point, not in the Rally Latvia bullet point. Right now, you mention Rally Estonia in the first and last bullet points of this section, and it just doesn't flow well. The lat bullet point reads as though you forgot that you mentioned Rally Estonia in the first bullet point. SSSB (talk) 21:47, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- "M-Sport featured a new line-up, with the crew led by Adrien Fourmaux and Grégoire Munster became" "Crew" should be plural, and "became" should be "become". SSSB (talk) 16:26, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- "Latvian driver Mārtiņš Sesks made his top tier debut [...]" the source at the end of this sentence is dead, and no archive link has been provided. We either need an archive link, or a new source. SSSB (talk) 16:26, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
Done. Also archived all sources of the page. Unnamelessness (talk) 11:37, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- I made a grammar correction: Special:Diff/1303588003. SSSB (talk) 21:44, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- "Top seven fastest runners of Sunday to receive 7–6–5–4–3–2–1 points respectively." this sentence needs rewritting. I'm not 100% sure what you mean. But I think that it should read "The top seven runners of Sunday's stages would recieve 7–6–5–4–3–2–1 points respectively."? SSSB (talk) 21:44, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- "The first gravel rally of the season was Portugal, where Ogier and Landais won again." this sentence needs reworking to make it clear that they are winning Rally Portugal again, not winning again during the course of the season. SSSB (talk) 10:46, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Reworded. Unnamelessness (talk) 04:35, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- "The event also saw Pajari and Mälkönen make their WRC debut, where they won the ninth stage in their Rally1 career." I would reword this to "The event saw Pajari and Mälkönen make their WRC debut, where they won a stage on their ninth attempt." Or something like that. Because, the first time I read this sentence I thought that they had their ninth stage win. SSSB (talk) 10:46, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- In the scoring system section: "points were only awarded to the top two classified finishers representing a manufacturer and driving a 2022-specification Rally1 car." shouldn't that 2024-specification? SSSB (talk) 10:46, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
Done. That was referring to the current regulation cycle, starting from 2022. Unnamelessness (talk) 04:41, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
Optional suggestions
- In the caption for Wydaeghe in the lead, I would mention that he was the co-driver. SSSB (talk) 12:54, 28 July 2025 (UTC)
- Not a big fan of this. To me, this unbalances the weight between the driver and co-driver. Unnamelessness (talk) 11:37, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
- " Pierre-Louis Loubet, who drove for the team over the last two seasons,": it would be more professional to write "over the previous two seasons." SSSB (talk) 16:26, 30 July 2025 (UTC)
- I think it is worth specifing in the regulations section that the points system for the power stage is unchanged, as the rest of the points system had such a major overhaul. SSSB (talk) 21:44, 31 July 2025 (UTC)
Final comments
Mostly good, just a couple of minor things. Let me know when you have addressed all the issues and I can check and pass. SSSB (talk) 10:46, 1 August 2025 (UTC)
- Think I've done all. Feel free to check again. Unnamelessness (talk) 04:42, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
- It all looks good. Congratulations on another good article. SSSB (talk) 10:31, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
