Government withdrawal
edit@KajMetz: In response to your question in the edit summary, I deleted that because its contradictory. Ecrusized (talk) 14:10, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Ecrusized: I get that, but with the current flow of events contradition is good for the bigger picture. If proven true, that statement loses its worth and won't be part of the article anymore.(talk) 14:13, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- I feel like pro-government forces statements have zero credibility at the moment, and I'm getting Bagdad Bob vibes from them, since they've also denied withdrawing from Aleppo and Hama during the past week. But I don't mind waiting for confirmation. Ecrusized (talk) 14:19, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
- Being reported in UK reliable sources now that they have indeed quit the city. Rambling Rambler (talk) 22:36, 7 December 2024 (UTC)

Updating the map
editShouldn't we merge the Homs Offensive and Palmyra Offensive articles?
editAs both are located in Homs. Into: Homs Offensives? KajMetz (talk) 11:18, 8 December 2024 (UTC)
Syrian president Ahmed al-Sharaa said that Russians stayed away from the 2024 Homs offensive as part of a deal with his forces per https://www.barrons.com/news/president-says-syria-in-talks-with-israel-on-security-deal-8380ceba. I think that this should be added in this article. Pachu Kannan (talk) 09:13, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- I agree on its inclusion. David O. Johnson (talk) 16:56, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
