The 2010 Haitian earthquake has spurred an array of literary fiction and cinema, from memoirs to feature films.

Hey Ret3426, this request is better made for the article about the 2010 Haiti earthquake rather than the general project page for good articles, so I've moved the request to this talk page. Another editor will be along in time to handle your request. Let me know if you have any questions! TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 03:52, 8 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

In the "Recovery" section of the article, replace "R$25 million of which in immediate funds" with "R$25 million of which was in immediate funds" Ashfractal (talk) 22:16, 20 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate Information

edit

“On 18 January 2010, the province of Quebec, whose largest city – Montreal – houses the world's largest Haitian diaspora, pledged C$3 million in emergency aid.” Montreal/Canada does not (and never has) house the world’s largest Haitian diaspora. Preciousbanton (talk) 10:26, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

I changed it to "the country's largest Haitian diaspora", which certainly seems to be the case. Mikenorton (talk) 12:04, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thats correct, thanks! Preciousbanton (talk) 12:15, 18 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Coordinates do not match with location

edit

When you look up the coordinates listed here they do not match with the illustrated picture or the town shown 2600:1009:A021:77EB:A9FD:5D5F:1D0:8EAA (talk) 21:53, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

The coordinates shown in the infobox and at the top of the article are for the epicenter. The infobox image shows building damage in Port au Prince, 25 km away from the epicenter. I don't see an issue with this. Mikenorton (talk) 22:59, 3 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

You haven't said what you think is wrong with the coordinates in the article, and they appear to be correct. If you still think that there is an error, you'll have to give a clear explanation of what it is. Deor (talk) 16:24, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
