editAs is the practice with 1001 - 1999, this page on 2000 will have extremely short stubs for 2001 - 2999. Gradually people will add properties to these numbers, or add numbers not already listed, and eventually some (but not all) of these will be shown to merit their own articles. When that happens, the content is copied to the new article and a link is put on this page. PrimeFan 21:37, 26 Feb 2004 (UTC)

edit2016
editEntry for 2016 has "triangular number, number of 5-cubes in a 9-cube" what does the second part mean? Is there a reference. --Salix alba (talk): 09:01, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
- A 5-cube is the five-dimensional equivalent of a cube. A 9-cube is the nine-dimensional equivalent of a cube. When you look at the 3-cube (our normal cube), it has six 2-cubes (squares) and 12 1-cubes (segments), right? Well, a 9-cube has 2 016 5-cubes. Nnoxie0 (talk) 16:44, 13 July 2025 (UTC)

Current year
editShould there be the number of the current year 2026? Viewer719/Contribs! 11:14, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
- Probably not. This article is about numbers rather than years, and someone would have to remember to update it every year end. Certes (talk) 11:41, 29 March 2022 (UTC)
- There is a template I used for the current year, It's {{CURRENTYEAR}}. Viewer719/Contribs! 09:03, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- True, but someone would have to integrate it with the existing entries in 2024 and 2025, or at least move it down the page. It's not really about the number. Certes (talk) 10:30, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
- You could automate that, and only have to update every few years with something like {{#ifeq:2025|{{CURRENTYEAR}}|The current year.}} on the line for 2025, and {{#ifeq:2026|{{CURRENTYEAR}}|The current year.}} on the next one, etc. But you still can't control for the end-of-year time zone madness, and caching. Uninteresting
edit2046 is the first positive integer without at least a line entry. All the best: Rich Farmbrough 13:30, 10 July 2025 (UTC).
