Greatest team of all time

There will always be debate as to who is the greatest team of any sport. That being said, a comment like "regarded by many" that is substantiated with multiple sources in which those regarded as experts in the field of college football are stating that this team is the greatest of all time, makes this a valid bit of information that should be included within the article. I have provided 5 of literally hundreds of articles that make that claim. Every list that I read has the 2001 Miami Hurricanes as number one. No matter the sport, there will never be a unanimous greatest team of all time. For example, many people from Nebraska actually consider the 71 team better than the 95 team. Edit0r6781 (talk) 01:11, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

The players on that Miami team might have been the greatest collection of players, but LSU 2019 was far and away the best college TEAM.

8 of the 12 teams Miami beat were beaten by more by at least 1 other team. Miami beat Rutgers by 61, WVU beat Rutgers by 73.

Total games won, total conf title games won, total playoff games won. Total NC coaches beaten during the season. blah, blah, blah. the list is long. LSU owns it.

The best college football team of all time is 1995 Nebraska, not LSU 2019. The Husker's greater dominance and consistent, overwhelming margin of victory assure this. The 1995 Huskers achieved an average margin of victory of 38.7 points, won nine games by 30 or more points, and achieved a perfect 12-0 record with a powerful offense and defense, something the 2019 LSU team, despite its own greatness, did not fully replicate in terms of pure, week-to-week domination.
