Smith Township is a township in Worth County, Missouri, United States.[2] At the 2020 census, its population was 139.[3] The town of Allendale lies in its south and the East Fork Grand River traverses from its northeast to southwest. It contains 42 sections.

Smith Township has the name of Freeman O. Smith, a pioneer citizen.[4] A post office named Hudson existed in the extreme northeast of this township.[5]
