Presidents of the Hunterian Society

This is a list of presidents of the Hunterian Society, founded in London in 1819 in honour of the surgeon and anatomist John Hunter.[1][2][3][4] Between 1940 and 1945 there was no president.[5] Several were based at St Thomas' Hospital, Guy's Hospital, and the London Hospital.[6] Thirty-six of the society's first 48 presidents delivered the Hunterian Society Oration.[7]
