Ministry

edit

V1 Church

edit

In 2016, Mike and Julie Signorelli founded V1 Church in Ridgewood, New York, with 18 people.[3] The church later established a location in Farmingdale, New York in 2017.[4] Since then, V1 Church has expanded to multiple campuses including Long Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Chicagoland area, Miami, and New Jersey.[citation needed]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, V1 Church transitioned its services online.[5] In April 2020, Signorelli stated that the church was reaching more than five million monthly views through livestreaming.[6] In January 2025, the church purchased a former soccer facility for $5.2 million.[7]

Deliverance ministry

edit

Signorelli is part of a group of ministers known as the Demon Slayers, who focus on deliverance ministry and exorcism alongside pastors including Greg Locke, Alexander Pagani, Isaiah Saldivar, and Vlad Savchuk.[2] Signorelli argues that witchcraft is growing, because "witchcraft works", powered by occult forces and "the demonic".[8] Signorelli says that the need for exorcism has risen because culture is inundated with the occult.[9] Signorelli says that "alien" sightings are in fact demons.[10]

In 2026, Signorelli led an Easter prayer in Times Square.[11] Signorelli says that multiple members of the crowd began "manifesting demons" until treated by "prayer teams".[12] Signorelli said multiple attendees were "physically healed" by the event.[13][11]

Film criticism

edit

In March 2022, Signorelli said Pixar film Turning Red was "demonic", saying it depicts "ancestral communication" and supports "a secular humanistic worldview that says there is no wrong or right anymore". Signorelli also argued the film's references to menstruation made it inappropriate for children.[14][15]

In October 2022, Signorelli said Disney+ film Hocus Pocus 2 put a "friendly face" on witchcraft.[8]

Filmography

edit

Signorelli is a writer and producer on two films. In 2023, Signorelli worked on Greg Locke's film Come Out In Jesus Name, a film documenting the The Demon Slayers exorcism work.[2][16] In 2023, Signorelli released The Domino Revival, on similar themes as Come Out.[2][17] In March 2024, Fathom Events presented both films in one night.[18][19]
