Facilities
editThe airport features a duty-free shop. Because Åland is outside the EU VAT area, passengers travelling to destinations outside Åland (including mainland Finland) can purchase goods tax-free. This differs from typical airport shopping rules within the EU. Apart from VAT, Åland generally follows EU regulations.
