The Lodha Theoretical Physics Institute (LTPI) is a physics research[1][2] centre located in Mumbai,[3] India. It is India's only private physics[4] research[5] institute, inaugurated on May 27, 2026, in Mumbai.

Leadership The institute is led by Jainendra K. Jain,[6] a well-known theoretical physicist known for his contributions to Fractional quantum Hall effect and Composite fermions. Jain holds a PhD from Stony Brook University.
