History

edit

In 1838, it was noted as a ruin, el-Metuny, situated "in the Luhf, east of the Lejah, i.e. in Wady el-Liwa".[3]

During the Bedouin–Druze clashes in 2025, Lahithah remained under the Syrian transitional government and its Bedouin allies.[4]
